Job Description
As the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading and developing the international commercial team, with a strong focus on driving daily commercial activities and achieving strategic goals. You will oversee the overall commercial strategy, team management, and the execution of growth plans. A logistical background is crucial to ensure that operational efficiency aligns with commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Daily management and coaching of the international commercial team. Ensure a high degree of collaboration and professionalism within the team, and promote a customer-oriented, performance-driven culture.
Market Development: Identify new markets, target groups, and growth opportunities.
Innovation and Process Improvement: Continuously improve commercial processes, including optimizing the customer journey and innovating products and services.
Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts and strategic partners. Monitor customer satisfaction and long-term contracts.
Budgeting and Accountability: Manage commercial budgets and targets. Responsible for achieving growth objectives in revenue and profit.
Collaboration within the Board: Actively contribute to the overall strategy of the company as part of the management team, including driving organization-wide changes and improvements.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
Experience and Knowledge: At least 10 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably in an international B2B environment with sales and leasing of technical products or services. Logistics experience and a background in supply chain management are a clear plus.
Leadership and Team Development: Strong leadership qualities with proven experience in motivating and developing commercial teams.
Results-Oriented: Experience in achieving growth objectives and developing new markets and customers.
Analytical and Strategic: Strong in analyzing market data and developing long-term strategies.
Relationship Management: Skilled in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, with a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
