The International Tank Container Organisation (ITCO) has published its annual Global Tank Container Fleet Survey, one of the industry's most widely referenced reports on the global tank container market.

For the first time, Meeberg has been included in the overview of tank container leasing companies, with a reported fleet of 7,500 tank containers.

This inclusion marks an important milestone in the continued development of Meeberg. What started as a family business in 1988 has grown into an international tank container leasing company serving customers across Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East.

The ITCO report highlights the companies that play a significant role within the global tank container industry. Being included alongside established international lessors reflects the growth of Meeberg's fleet and the trust placed in the company by customers and partners worldwide.

The 2026 survey reports a global tank container fleet of almost 900,000 units, underlining the continued importance of tank containers within international supply chains for chemicals, food products and other bulk liquids.

While the industry has faced challenging market conditions in recent years, Meeberg has continued to invest in its fleet, its people and its global network. The inclusion in the ITCO survey is not only a recognition of the company's current position, but also an encouragement to continue building for the future.
